A merrow border is a front to back looping of thread all the way around the border of the patch.  This is typically used if the patch is very simple – like a shield shape.  If your patch has sharp cut outs or edges, a hot needle or ‘laser cut’ border will be used to achieve the edging you’re looking for.

TIP:   When designing your emblem, allow 1/8” for a merrowed border or an 1/8” for a laser cut/hot needle border.

We offer an extensive array of colors and twill fabrics!

**Due to color variances among monitors and printers, the color you see on screen or printed may NOT be an exact match to our thread and fabric colors.

TIP:  Contrasting colors will make your patch design POP!  For example, use silver thread on a black background or gold thread on a navy background.

Our standard pricing includes up to 9 colors, but you can use as many colors as you’d like for an additional fee.

We use Polyester threads, as they are more dye stable and last longer.

Plastic, iron on, velcro hook and/or loop and peel & stick.

Lettering smaller than 1/8″ will not be legible in embroidery.

Absolutely!  However, some fonts translate better to embroidery.  Your Account Executive will direct you in picking the best font for your design.
